Prosecco has a long history in Treviso, in northern part of Italy.

Its name appears in the description of a British traveller who traveled there in the late 16th century.

The area called "Valdobbiadene" in Treviso, where Nani Rizzi is located,

is an area where Prosecco has been actively produced since long time ago,

and the highest graded Prosecco called "DOCG" is produced in this region.

There are around 200 wineries which produce DOCG prosecco in this area,

but most of the wines have not been imported into Japan yet.

Therefore, they have attracted attention nowadays.
